As an artist, my focus is on the process of creating, the experimentation and the sometimes serendipitous results of the juxtaposition of media and ideas both two and three dimensionally. With a BFA in sculpture and MFA in painting and drawing, I use as much of each media and process that I can, when working.
I began printmaking a number of years ago and found more of what I had been searching for in the print process. Using carefully culled printed pieces of literature and my own print images, I have been able to create new, collaged narratives that examine my ideas of space, time and memory.
I have worked collaboratively with a variety of other artists, which I find to be the most interesting and appealing process of all, as it requires compromise, integrity and an open mind. I am always amazed by the collaborative process and resulting work. My work has been exhibited widely along the east coast.
