if you get the Pro version for free through MSDNAA, I think they can do a "windows anytime upgrade" (WAU) to Ultimate... but it's such a rip-off. At the store the difference between Pro and Ultimate is so small; but the "windows anytime upgrade" from Pro to Ultimate is allegedly ~$140 ... WTF?I would think $50 is too much for a WAU for Pro to Ultimate. I will wait and see on release day for official info... if the WAU from Pro to Ultimate is 140... I'm getting bootleg version of Win7 Ultimate, even though I have access to free legit MSDNAA version of Pro.They want to rip me off for a few features... I want the language pack (2 languages) of Ultimate... 140 for that *****? ***** you.

What's with this new trend of infographics that are just a giant wall of text? Infographics are supposed to be designed to make information more easy to understand and visually appealing, not harder to read in a multi-coloured mashup..
Not all asian countries are the same. China as a country (in the past, up until the last 200-300 yrs or so...before communism took over) has been extraordinarily good at coming up with ideas that everyone else wanted to copy and improve. Gunpowder, Cannons, Ceramics, the compass, printmaking, paper...the list is unbelievably long. The interesting (ironical?) thing about ancient china is that they maintained their technical dominance by very strong intellectual property control. Just one of many examples: the chinese were able to control sericulture (silkmaking) for thousands of years.
