***** ***** ******Googles "Where to hide a bike"*?
If you christians had to deal with someone else's beliefs being plastered all over the place, you'd get a little annoyed too.How would you like it if all your money said "praise be to allah"?How would you like it if just about every radio program, tv program, song and movie had some reference to a god or a religion you don't subscribe to?How would you like it if there was a mosque on every street corner, and a billboard advertising them at every highway exit? How would you like it if your taxes were being spent footing the bill for these tax-exempt places of worship that you want nothing to do with? How would you like it if everytime something good happened, everyone around you thanked some other god/entity you don't believe in? It would drive you up the wall, and you know it. Desfahanian's response was very tame... hardly "militant". If the tables were turned, you guys would be rolling your eyes and making smartass remarks too.Western culture is overflowing with christian references. Just think how that must feel for someone who isn't christian (or religious for that matter). It's extremely frustrating. Just think about that next time you decide to call someone with a differing opinion militant or closed minded. |

I live in the Philly area and 4+ Gamefly games have been 'lost' in the mail since 2006 when I started the service. I also complained to several post office workers and managers... ...*****, I got Bioshock like 3 weeks after it came out instead of a week later...although it's good to know that it wasn't the ineptitude of a US government run establishment...

Now if they can get one session bound in chains with duck-taped mouths,... To symbolize personal and religious freedoms lacking in Maldives, that would be a change. (Simplest examples: natives can't freely communicate with foreign visitors or other way around; no one can visit certain parts of the country without Big Govt. permission; you can't have any other than Muslim religious symbol (no matter what your beliefs are); you can't have any books with you that Big Muslim Govt. does not approve of (both of the last two regardless if you are native or visitor); slavery (no-in-the-name-only) is fine; freedom of media or expression does not exist; should one even mention women's rights there?...).And they "worry" about global warming? Become civilized first, than think about political stunts.
