Colbert is great, but kudos to the lady for getting her points across despite the comedy routine in progress.
I got the same thing and wrote an e-mail to the Digg support team about it. The next day I got some ***** response telling me it was fixed. About an hour later the ad starting blaring that damn music louder than anything else with audio i had been watching. Just like a TV commercial the volume seems to be maxed out. Quite irritating

Oh man, FormatSlacker got 16 Diggs for that, LOLReal lumberjacks (or anyone with basic understanding of physics) can fell a tree flawlessly within a few degrees of exactly where they wanted it to fall. This is done literally thousands of times per day to PROTECT OTHER NEARBY TREES.Here's how it works: You cut an angled notch about half way through, on the side you want the tree to tip towards. You cut a SLIT on the other side (about 45% of the way through, and then the tree will fall about 95% of the time, if you've done it right. For the other 5% of the time, you use a little plastic WEDGE and tap it into that slit with any chunk of wood you can find laying around, and just a few inches of that wedge going in, tips the tree DRASTICALLY at the top and it falls. NO MATTER WHAT SIDE IS HEAVIER.
