mrwalsh: How is that at all significant? Are you implying some claim as to what the maximum acceptable % of CO2 in the atmosphere is, and that that number is significantly greater than 1%? If so, care to be more specific?Or do you think for some reason that no concentration of anything in anything that's less than .%1 could possibly be harmful, because 1/1000 is a teeny-tiny little number? I weigh 190lbs...I'm sure there are plenty of substances that less than .19lbs of could be fatal to me.
Stealing car secrets from Ford? Is he trying to make their cars just a little *****?

“Wow. You guys are ridiculous. This is really sad. The guy makes something, and markets it and the second it's announced, it's attacked. Sure, he says the fan has no blades. For all of our purposes, yes, the fan has no blades. The point he's trying to make with that statement is that the fan does not work like a conventional fan. It's not like the guy is trying to convert us into christianity or anything... He's just designing and marketing a product. If you don't like it, don't buy it. It doesn't make you look smart or cool because you've figured out that the fan ACTUALLY has a "blade".

Follow the link for the full article.100 years of Big Content fearing technology—in its own wordshttp://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/news/2009/10/10 ...fta: For the last hundred years, rightsholders have fretted about everything from the player piano to the VCR to digital TV to Napster. Here are those objections, in Big Content's own words. It's almost a truism in the tech world that copyright owners reflexively oppose new inventions that do (or might) disrupt existing business models. But how many techies actually know what rightsholders have said and written for the last hundred years on the subject? The anxious rhetoric around new technology is really quite shocking in its vehemence, from claims that the player piano will destroy musical taste and the "national throat" to concerns that the VCR is like the "Boston strangler" to claims that only Hollywood's premier content could make the DTV transition a success. Most of it turned out to be absurd hyperbole, but it's interesting to see just how consistent the words and the fears remain across more than a century of innovation and a host of very different devices. So here they are, in their own words—the copyright holders who demanded restrictions on player pianos, photocopiers, VCRs, home taping, DAT, MP3 players, Napster, the DVR, digital radio, and digital TV..
If I learned anything from playing years of GTA, it's that no matter how many police helicopters you shoot down there is always another one on the way. He would have been better off just repainting his car.!

"Meanwhile, Gossip Girl and The OC creator Josh Schwartz's X-Men First Class may be heading in a different direction to what we'd been expecting: Harry Potter is a bit of a role model for us, absolutely. "..... =|?
I dont think you are civilzed after reading what you have said. Define civilized? And be civilized yourself before anything else. |

i worked at a place once, where about 20% of the people were on work release or in a halfway house or probation center. the hr guy got a huge erection when he fired someone, knowing they lost more than a job. ironically he was a convicted sex offender, school teacher or counselor. one of the most unfit for existence people i ever met. |
