I don't really like them, but if you're a responsible consumer then they're just like any other bank. You can't deny the usefulness of the fact that they have a TON of ATMs throughout the US, or the fact that most (if not all) of their deposit ATMs have that fancy new check-scanning feature which gets rid of the need for envelopes. Their online banking is also quite good. Yes their fees are high, but it seems every major bank has high fees. Especially for overdraft. I also greatly dislike their interest rates on their savings accounts (.1%... I remember back in January I could get 3.00% at PNC). I'm with them for now, but once I start making more money I'll probably be using online banks (at least for my savings).Oh yeah, they also denied me for a credit card :(
Why is this on the front page? If you look at the poll's internals, they claim that only 40% of the respondents were 2008 Obama voters to begin with--an obvious (and probably deliberately) skewed sample that is not an accurate reflection of the electorate. And they have the highest number of Republicans sampled in any poll to date (check pollster.com for more info). Talk about manipulating numbers. Public Policy Polling, a real polling firm, had Obama well over 50% compared to several marquee matchups in 2012. They poll this question every month.
