So if it is the carriers that send them out, then RIM should have just said so and be done with it.2. They didn't say they were going to pan it without reviewing it, they said they other places "went ahead and panned the phone, just like we would have." Seems to me they read other reviews and concluded it sucked. You're right, that strikethrough part was pretty ridiculous and immature, because you can't have a rant and end it by saying "this was a joke". I don't mind admitting this because, like I already said, I don't care much for Gizmodo.

I watched about 30min of one soccer game in the past year, I think one of the games in the Confed Cup. During it, one guy CLEARLY flopped, and fell to ground thriving in pain, rolling over and over. At first, the referee called just a foul (according to the announcers). Five minutes of rolling on the ground later, a stretcher comes out and takes the guy off the field. THEN, 5 minutes after the play occurred, the referee pulls out a red card and throws the guys who committed the phantom foul out of the game. Sure enough, a few minutes later, the guy who was carried off in the stretcher comes jogging back into the game without a limp.I don't blame the players - flopping clearly works. There should just be much tougher rules for flopping, and it should be called more frequently.Haven't watched soccer since. Maybe I'll watch some of the World Cup next year.
