If life is an unalienable right, how is the private sector allowed to cut people off when they need it the most?Do you feel the same way about law enforcement? Should cops simply not respond to shootings if a home has a pre-existing condition such as being in a ***** neighborhood?How about fire fighters? Should they wait to put out the fire until they check to see if you qualify? What if you don't qualify for fire extinguishment because you bought some firecrackers when you were 19?I realize those are pretty ridiculous hypothetical situations, but it's the same premise translated to other social services that we, in the civilized world, view as rights.
