this is nothing like vietnam. The vietnam era army was *****. drug ridden and poorly trained. I remember my dad - a marine corps corpsman - telling me about people doing all kinds of drugs over season. these guys died because they were poorly trained.On the other hand, The Army I'm in is well trained. My wife and I are both reservists. We're trained extensively. I'd pit my wife against any 10 Afghani or Iraqi 'fighters'. Our weaponry is better. We get paid better and we have more incentives to stay alive. It's awesome that if I die my kid can use my GI Bill to go to college.You should see the gear they issued us just this passed weekend. I'm in an MP Battalion, so I'm likely to be deployed again in the next 5 years. I can't wait to use this new gear - and I'm a 25B, I don't ever see the field.Have faith in our Army.As for Biden, why should he resign simply because he disagrees with his boss?
