yes, they did. Not for their kid flying on it. But he probably thought he could get some kind of weird backyard "inventions" show. He already HAD a production deal with the producers of Wife Swap. And had pitched a show to TLC, who turned him down. I am sure he thought that with all the publicity, networks would want him. SAdly, some already did. So he felt that the publicity would be enough to put them over hte edge and want him more.?
The writing in this articles sucks almost as hard as the comments in here.

And when some were thinking Win7 was going to be like that, I'd hear people say on forums why can't I have my optimized Gamer edition, Media edition, etc to have a more stripped down and optimal OS. MS can't win, apparently. Me, I'd prefer just a basic OS with as little clutter as possible. I'll be buying Home Premium as I don't need XP mode. When I do need a VM, Virtualbox suits me fine.

I won't be surprised if a lot of people didn't like it since it was slightly depressing, but all in all it was very good.. makes you want to be kid again (which adds to the sadness)
