Not to fall into the ridiculous "away game" viewpoint, but there would be little to stop the Taliban from knocking over our little puppet government and allowing Al Qaeda to return if NATO was not occupying the country. It's incredibly short sighted to clutch at any straw hoping for a quick pullout as through that's magic solution nobody has thought of. I don't claim to have the answers to the Afghanistan problem but I'm absolutely certain Biden resigning in protest wouldn't help anyone besides the pundits.!
