skztr, you should try out "WiiMotion+" since it does add those 7 to 9 orders of magnitude that you're looking for to the motion detection that the original Wiimote has.As far as the rest of your criticism is concerned, keep in mind that the Wii when it came out was (and still is until there is competition in the realm) truly nextgen. Sure it didn't have top notch graphics and all the processing power that's packed into a PS3 or even an XBox360. However it completely changed the dynamics of game control to the point that even Sony and Microsoft are coming out with competing control methods. In other words, the Wii did it first which implies it was at the beginning of the next generation while Sony and Microsoft were still trying to eke out the last drop of performance out of last gen. That's my $0.02.Disclaimer: I own all three consoles (and an HDTV to get the most out of the graphics) and enjoy playing all three very much.

Water isn't the only problem. The amount of energy inputted into the entire process is great also. The water that is used in the fermentation process generally needs to go through a water treatment process (to get rid of the soluble solids, etc) before it gets recycled to the system or purged into the environment. Depending on the water treatment process (multieffect evaporators?), the energy input can be costly. Using membranes/filter/whatever isn't really a cost effective solution on a commercial scale. This is one of the many problems I had to deal with my senior design project, which was the design of a commercial size biobutonal plant that uses yellow corn. Different material and product, but both processes deal with similar problems..
They forgot - Lazy newspapers who think that just because an image is on the internet nobody owns it. Even if it's someones wedding photographs. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mn_francis/4013045787 ...!

The Chinese have no problem waiting 10yrs for cost recovery. Here in the USA, if we can't get the money back in a quarter or two, the project would be called a money pit and stripped from the budget :(

The trouble with Hydrogen is that until we find a way of creating it on the go, then it's still just a carrier, it still has to be made first and that's an expensive way of doing things. |
