Read further. There was an update available that makes the .Net add-on removable. Thanks to Lucas123 for submitting this, though. I unknowingly had this add-on enabled. It has now uninstalled. I'm on XP.
When I was in highschool, I thought it would be funny to swipe a few mice from the computer lab. I got caught and punished as I rightly should have. This was in addition to numerous other little things I did to cause trouble. The administration chose to make me reimburse the school for damages. They had a police officer come in and sit me down and interrogate me. They chose to let me dig my way out of the mess rather than involving courts or parents. I repaid them two fold for their kindness and now have a normal life. Locking people up for non-violent crime is not always the best solution. Two years is a significant amount of time to spend incarcerated, would five or ten years teach a greater lesson? I am not certain.

what is needed is about 8gigs of memory. Compress 640x480 video with audio enough to fit 16 hours onto 8gigs so .500mb per hour ("usable" quality if not stellar)make it small enough to mount on glasses frames etc..the real trick? either a battery powerful enough or a camera low power enough to do this for 16 hours. All the above is easy and doable right now for about $20 all except the 16hour run time. Right now 3 hours is about as good as your going to get without going bulky. NOW that neck thing you could probably get enough batts in there for 8-10 hours. still short 6-8 hours.the next trick is a 1tb hard drive and a DOCK. I walk into the bedroom take it off and stick it in the dock. the dock should then recharge the camera and download the contents to the External Hard Disk (think $99 1tb my book or something)you now in theory have enough memory for 125days of video.we really need to get that to a YEAR so we need a 3tb hard disk for $99 to make it practical. or a 30TB hard disk and replace it once every 10 years.the problem becomes one of LEGAL issues. This video content should be treated like spousal privilege IE ABSOLUTELY off limits to law enforcement no matter what NO warrant possible EVER. and never EVER admissable in court EVEN with the approval of the wearer unless its to PROVE's onces innocence. IE it should be one way.otherwise its a nasty slippery slope when they can demand to see it and do fishing expeditions. or put you in jail for deleting it etc..it should legally be "off limits" no matter what even for "terrorist" investigations (because guess who defines what terrorism is NOT YOU thats for sure)this needs to include using other peoples lifecams to record you or find you. IE it all needs to be absolutely off limits as if its your own eyeball and your own memory IE 100% in your control.Citizens should also be allowed to use it to prove transactions and disputes but again 100% in wearer control No warrant possible under any conditions ie off limits to law enforcement outside the control of the wearer.

As much as it seems gimmicky, I would actually use this. I have an iPod touch and no cell phone, so if I'm on campus and I needed a taxi, it would be a lot easier for me to just use the campus wifi instead of finding a payphone.Granted, I'd have to open a twitter account.
