Submit Your Work During the Month of February
for the 2024 Members' Gallery

About the Members' Gallery

We had a fantastic submission response last year from our members and many kudos on the 2023 Members' Gallery on CWA's website. We are now taking submissions for the 2024 Members' Gallery. We hope that any member who was unable to submit last year and all of our members will take this opportunity to have their work promoted on the site. CWA's site ranks high in searches on art and art organizations, and there is a high probability that collectors, curators, gallerists, and the media will see your work. The curated Members' Gallery is an annual project. It provides an opportunity for CWA members to showcase their work.

  • The curated Members' Gallery presents at least one representative work from each participating artist in a group online gallery.

  • The 2024 Members' Gallery will be published online in March this year.

  • The previous Members' Galleries will remain online for at least two years.

  • There is no fee to submit work, and the Members' Gallery differs from Featured Artists, which requires a fee.

The latest presentation format considers how the artwork appears as a group and how the images visually flow in sequence; therefore, we ask that each member submit three images of their artwork for the gallery. This year, we've made some changes to the submission process to streamline the behind-the-scenes workflow required to process images and build the gallery. We sort hundreds of images and ask that files be named as specified so we can identify your work quickly.

  • SIZING FILES: Size your files to the following specifications: 300 PPI (pixels per inch)/1500 pixels on the longest edge in JPEG file format. Get help photographing your work if you need it. Submissions with sub-optimal resolution or focus may be excluded from publishing. Note that we need files sized at 300ppi/1500 on the longest for the website's online gallery not lower ppi sizes which are typical for exhibition submissions.

  • NAMING FILES: Due to the hundreds of files we receive and must keep organized, name your JPEG files as follows: first name and last name, image title, and medium.  Do not include sizes, prices, underscores, or any other information when you name files and only include your name, the image title and medium. Files not appropriately named may be not be fully identifiable and therefore not considered for publicaiton. Type the filename in upper and lower case with spaces and commas. (example: Evelyn Smith, Walk in the Park, Oil.jpg). Do not include watermarks on your images. Only JPEG files are accepted. Please get assistance with naming files if you need to. Watch the YouTube videos Mac Basics: How to Rename Your Files or How to Rename Files and Folders on a Mac or How to Rename a file in Windows 10 or How to Rename files on iPhone, depending on the device you are using.

  • DEADLINE: After February 29, 2024 any changes (Including title changes) or submissions are not accepted.

  • CONFIRMATION: You will be sent an automated confirmation of your submission via email. Check your email's spam box if you don't see the confirmation.
