CWA's 2024 Annual National Open Juried Exhibition
at the Slater Memorial Musem
is on display September 30 through November 22

Connecticut Women Artists, Inc. (CWA) is one of the country's oldest women's art organizations, beginning in 1929. CWA presents the Annual National Open Juried Exhibition in the fall each year, showcasing selected works in a broad range of styles and media submitted by women artists from the United States.

This year's exhibition will be at the spectacular and newly renovated Slater Memorial Museum, with its soaring light-filled galleries. The Converse Art Gallery, built in 1906, hosts six changing exhibitions throughout the year and is a fitting venue to showcase the works.  The opening reception and awards ceremony takes place September 28, from 1-3pm. The exhibition runs from September 30 through November 22, 2024.

The Slater Memorial Museum is a historic building and art museum on the grounds of the Norwich Free Academy in Norwich, Connecticut. It was built in 1885 and designed by architect Stephen C. Earle in Richardsonian Romanesque architecture.
