Veronique Fournier-Wynne - Featured Artist

My work is based on my passion and admiration for the old Masters, especially Vermeer, Jacques-Louis David, Bouguereau, and Rembrandt. I wanted to reproduce the work that so many people have never tired of watching in museums around the world. After working as a graphic designer, it was late in my life that I started studying the traditional classical way of learning that produced those masters.

I am a realist artist, and I am continually learning to improve my skills as an oil painter. I also like to create a story or a mood that people can experience when looking at my work, whether in a still life or a portrait or a scene featuring different human characters.
