About the Members' Gallery Online Exhibit
Read the Entire Page Before Submitting Your Work

The annual, curated Members' Gallery Online Exhibit provides an opportunity for all CWA members to showcase their work. We had a fantastic submission response last year and many kudos. CWA's site ranks high in searches on art and art organizations, and there is a high probability that collectors, curators, gallerists, and the media will see your work.

  • SIZING FILES: Size your files to the following specifications: 300 PPI (pixels per inch)/1500 pixels on the longest edge in JPEG file format. If you are unable to meet this size requirements, submit the files to the best of your ability and be aware that submissions with sub-optimal resolution or focus may be excluded from publishing. Note that we need files sized at 300ppi/1500 on the longest for the website's online gallery not lower ppi sizes which are typical for exhibition submissions.

  • NAMING FILES: Due to the hundreds of files we receive and must keep organized, name your JPEG files as follows: first name and last name, image title, and medium.  Do not include sizes, prices, underscores, or any other information when you name files and only include your name, the image title and medium. Files not appropriately named may be not be fully identifiable and therefore not considered for publication. Type the filename in upper and lower case with spaces and commas. (example: Evelyn Smith, Walk in the Park, Oil.jpg). Do not include watermarks on your images. Only JPEG files are accepted. Please get assistance with naming files if you need to. Watch the YouTube videos Mac Basics: How to Rename Your Files or How to Rename Files and Folders on a Mac or How to Rename a file in Windows 10 or How to Rename files on iPhone, depending on the device you are using.

FAQ

  • WHO MAY SUBMIT? The Members' Gallery Online Exhibit submission period is open to every CWA member who is in good standing, regardless of whether they submitted the previous years.

  • IS THERE AN ENTY FEE? No. There is no fee to submit work, and the Members' Gallery Online Exhibit differs from the website's Featured Artists, and the annual Members' Juried Show which both require a fee.

  • DO I NEED TO SUBMIT RECENT WORK? Although not required, please try to submit recent work and do not submit any images which are in previous years' Members' Gallery exhibits because they will not be considered for publication.

  • WHAT IS THE DEADLINE? The submission deadline is by midnight, January 31, 2026. No exceptions. We are unable to accommodate requests for late submissions.

  • HOW DO I KNOW MY WORK WAS SUBMITTED? You will see a red submission success message beneath the form's submit button when you make your submission. This is a quick way to know your files were submitted. You will also receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. Save the email as receipt of your submission. We maintain a record of your submission date.

  • I DON'T SEE THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL, WHERE IS IT? Check your email's spam box if you don't see the confirmation and do not reply to the automated email address because it does not accept incoming email.

  • CAN I SUBMIT THE FORM MORE THAN ONCE? No. Each artist may submit 3 images, one time. More than one submission from each artist is blocked.

  • CAN I CHANGE THE TITLE OF MY WORKS OR SWITCH OUT AN IMAGE FILE ONCE I MAKE A SUBMISSION? No. Please choose your works carefully and proofread your submissions carefully. Due to the hundreds of files we receive, all submissions are final.

  • HOW MANY OF MY WORKS WILL APPEAR IN THE GALLERY? The curated Members' Gallery Online Exhibit presents one or two works from each participating artist in a group online gallery. The gallery is curated and so you may see more than one work from an artist to facilitate the visual flow of the online exhibit.

  • WHEN WILL THE EXHIBIT BE PUBLISHED? The 2026 Members' Gallery Online Exhibit will be published online on the CWA website sometime in February, 2026.

  • HOW LONG ARE THE OTHER MEMBERS' GALLERY ONLINE EXHIBITS PUBLISHED? The previous Members' Gallery Online Exhibits will remain online for at least two years after the 2026 Members' Gallery Online Exhibit is published. That means you will see the 2024, 2025, and 2026 Members' Gallery online exhibits published at the same time and the 2023 Members' Gallery Online Exhibit will be deleted.

  • CAN I USE OTHER ARTISTS' WORKS FROM THE MEMBERS' GALLERY ONLINE EXHIBIT ON MY WEBSITE OR SOCIAL MEDIA? Not without their permission. The published images of other artists' works are protected under U.S. copyright laws. Do not use the works in any manner whatsoever without the express written consent of the licensor (the artist.) If you want to promote the online exhibit, link to the website's 2026 Members' Gallery Online Exhibit page when it's published without copying the works. Please respect your fellow artists' intellectual property rights.
